Siemens Class 360/1 Upgrade

In 2020 as per the HS2 upgrade this class needed to be upgraded to a new speed dB output.

The project required Trent Instruments to fit a new air flow control system as well as a new purpose designed horn to meet this new standard.

David Burton, Siemens Project Leader stated that this upgrade project went extremely well and they thanked Trent Instruments for the engineering help and assistance that was provided throughout the upgrade.

The procurement also went very smooth with all the sets being dispatched ahead of time to meet the requirements to upgrade at least 1 train per week.

Trent Instruments were able to produce a report to assist with completion of the VeBo (Verified Body) document.
